Went to a flat track race few weekends ago to watch a friend race and these type of events are also fundraiser for disabled children. Attending were Sarazens (local gang), Hell's Angel's, Outlaws and no problems. Everyone enjoyed the race, walked around and compared/admired all the bikes. Last weekend we had a "toy run" for underpriveledged for X-mas toys. Also in attendance were the same "gangs". Just because some bikers are in gangs, people seem to think everyone is and forget even the guys in "gangs" do have a big heart when it comes to kids. It was my first run that I rode my own bike in. What a feeling riding with 12,000 other bikes. Made me want to join a gang! Just being around that many bikes was awesome. I have been to the runs as a passenger but there was no comparison to riding my own. The weather on both days was absolutely gorgeous so that just made everything even better. If the weather holds up this week, my girlfriend and I are going on a bike ride for 2 days (1 night) just the 2 of us. First time! Of course our significant others are a little worried about just the 2 of us taking off (we're both new riders, but she's already put over 7,000 miels on her HD since March and I've put about 2,500 between my first practice bike and my Savage since March). We figure two absolutely goegeous looking girls broken down on the side of the road, someone should stop to help! And since
hogryder's experience I'm taking a 10m socket wrench with me. Well, hogryder, you did say the forum was slow. Now you've got me going!
